Cohen Family and Deventer

I visited Deventer in October, 2011. It is a beautiful quiet town, very peaceful. Its easy to imagine how safe one might feel living there. There is a beautiful labyrinth and I stayed in a gorgeous hotel that used to be the hospital.

Ella Pauline Polak (1904-1951), her husband Dr. Johan Cohen (1900-1964) and their two children Magdalena Emma (Leny) Cohen Heymann (1931-lives in Davis CA) and Hans Frits Cohen (1932-1944). Dr. Cohen was a family physician, Ella was a nurse.
